I have biometrics on a different profile than Owner.
Occasionally I'll see that I have to use my PIN instead of my fingerprint, usually after a certain period of time. I'm not talking about when I end the session or use Lockdown. It seems to happen at random intervals, more likely to happen after several hours of not using my phone. But I've seen it happen after just minutes of not using it. Is there a way to adjust this time period?
I ask the question in the case of lawful seizure of my phone where I can be forced to unlock the phone with fingerprint. I'd like to know that if I don't unlock my phone within say, 1 hour, it requires my PIN or password, and this strikes a good balance between security and convenience, where auto-reboot is the more secure function.
And is setting auto-reboot to a lower value (eg. 1 or 2 hours) before leaving home a good compromise to combat being legally forced to unlock your phone with fingerprint? I'm not sure about the legislation on how long you're able to stall before being forced to unlock it.
