Hi everyone:
I’m new to Graphene, it’s spectacular, and I wish to double-check its correct functionality.
From what I understood, Google Play and the apps installed thereof are sandboxed; I’ve only ever allowed Network and Notification access to Play/Services/Framework and nothing else.
I received a notification that I should allow Google Play to scan for harmful apps. I allowed this.
The scan results clearly showed Google Play scanned the Graphene OS apps, like Vanadium, which were there before Google Play was ever installed.
I’m now confused as to the sandbox functionality. It appears Google Play is able to view/scan all apps, including those installed outside Google Play.
Is this normal behavior?
Thank you very much for clarifying.
