Duress feature unavailable for 8a

Hi, I cant seem to find Duress pin on pixel 8a. I have tried alpha release as well but seems to be up to date.
Is this coming soon?

Protonuser I believe the duress feature happened in release 2024053100 which I believe is ahead of where the 8a is. I think the 8a is likely catch up in a small number of weeks.

Note that if your device installs an alpha-release system and you don't like it there is no way to go back without wiping the device. For some users that may argue against switching channels to hurry along some specific feature.

Protonuser I'll just use this quote from the GrapheneOS official Twitter account:

Android 14 QPR3 should be released on Monday, which we'll quickly port to. We expect that will include QPR3 support for Pixel 8a.

At the moment, Pixel 8a AOSP / stock OS is still on Android 14 QPR1 so we are too, meaning missing April, May and early June GrapheneOS improvements.

other8026 Gotcha thanks for that. Does this mean that we can expect the duress to hopefully be here on these devices within 10-15 days?

Protonuser I don't want to promise anything, but it looks like the 8a should be up date along with all the other devices within a few days. Depends on when Google releases QPR3 and how much time it takes for GrapheneOS developers to update things on their end (which I gather shouldn't take too long).
