Pixel 6 - no mobile data (Ireland)

VPN: Netguard (app)

No data connection via mobile data (in Ireland) possible.
Data connection via wifi works.

Strangely enough, the connection suddenly worked for about 2 weeks after one day.
The SMS with the tariff data (when entering a foreign country) only arrived several days after I connected to the network for the first time.
Now it's not working again.

I have already tried the following, unfortunately without success.

Restart cell phone
VPN on/off
Flight mode on/off
Reset mobile access data

TravisOne I suspect more details might help, e.g., which SIM carrier, which carrier(s) in Ireland?

Before you try anything else or change other settings on your phone try the following :

Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset Mobile Network Options

Be sure to reboot/restart device once you do that.

Have you tried checking your APN settings? Your mobile carrier can provide you with the correct network settings, in case your SIM is not configured correctly.

I followed the instructions from the carrier Link to manually add an new APN.

Then strange things happened

Try
- Add a new APN with the information from the instruction site
- Hit Save
  -> no new APN in the List
Try
- repeat, now the new APN is in the List available and selectable
- but some Info like the Value for "MCC" saved an other Value than i entered
- corrected the false Values an saved, but the old values reappear, the new ones are not adopted
  -> select the new APN but no Internet via mobile Data
Try
- switch back and forth between the entries but no Internet via mobile Data
  -> but no Internet via mobile Data
Try
- delete the new APN and use the old one
  -> Internet via mobile Data works but i don't think that's the final solution
