Cannot bring App Icons to the home screen on pixel 6a

Hi, have just installed GrapheneOS and happy that I could manage - but even in tutorials I cannot find a solution for this (newby? :-) problem, I am sure somebody out there can give me a simple trick: not even the pre-installed apps appear on the start screen - I have to open them via settings.

Hi Marie!

If you swipe up in the homescreen, you'll see your app drawer, where all apps that are installed on that profile are shown.

From there, if you press and hold on a specific app, it takes you back to the homescreen, keep holding, and drag it where you need to.
