GrapheneOS GrapheneOS version 2024060500 released: https://grapheneos.org/releases#2024060500 See the linked release notes for a summary of the improvements over the previous release.
Agility8200 GrapheneOS Love the second item in the changelog, as we're probably the only community to consistently be impacted by that bug. Funny that it's such an old bug though.
Questionmark GrapheneOS I have this version on my pixel 7a device right now. And right now there is a downloadnongoing from the system updater app. I can see no details. Is this update legit or is it suspicious? Yesterday the first partt apps have bin updated so i guess it's an grapheneos systemupdate. But again i can see no details about the download. All i can see is the notification prompt when i pull the status bar down and there it says "downloading system update" when i tap on it i get to settings/system/systemupdates Edit: today is june the 16 at 14:50 european time
other8026 iraqi_sunburn I think the release is still in the alpha channel. You can wait until it's tested and is in the stable channel or you can change the release channel in Settings > System > System update
iraqi_sunburn other8026 Thank you! My phone is currently bricked so wanted to flash it. Found out you can just type in: https://releases.grapheneos.org/husky-ota_update-2024060500.zip and it downloads just fine. Just changed the 400 to a 500 and apparently that's the link. Solid nomenclature consistency!
matchboxbananasynergy Questionmark Yes. https://grapheneos.org/releases#changelog you can see there's been more releases after the one you're on. There can't be "non-legit" updates issued, since all valid updates need to be signed with the correct signing keys.
Questionmark matchboxbananasynergy so now the update is done and i am on version 2024061400 now. Am i on the newest stable version now? How long i've used an "old outdated" version then? And how could it happen? I tap on check for updates quite frequently
matchboxbananasynergy Questionmark You updated on time. All updates go through the alpha, beta, and stable channels. The last releases are based on QPR3 which is a big update, and therefore didn't all make it to stable, and were in alpha and beta longer than usual.
