Profiles, sandboxed play services and push notifications

Hi!

I'm wondering if the following scenario would work:

Having a default profile without play services that runs my non-google services bound apps
Then, having a second profile that has sandboxed google play services. That profile would be for apps that requires push notifications, such as Protonmail.

In order to get push notifications, do I need the second profile activated at all times? Or will I still get them using the default profile?

By default, you can only see a given profile's notifications after switch to it.

To change this, you can enable notification forwarding in the second profile. This will cause its notifications to appear with limited information when using the default profile.
