Seperate Proton account for profiles

Making data accessible between profiles is difficult by design and i'm looking for a solution.

What I came up with is to use an extra account that I have within my visionary subscription with proton.
Some of the benefits i see

no credentials or data of my main proton account is shared in a profile where i have privacy unfriendly apps running
i can setup shared proton drive folders to make data accessible between profiles
setup persistent vpn in a profile where i have privacy unfriendly apps running

My question is: this sounds great, but am i overlooking some issues with this? Is this actually a good idea, or am i missing something?

That sounds good. I'm a bit concerned if there are any unfriendly apps that can read data from Proton since that's what I've done with my separate profiles (Proton Drive on both profiles with my main account). The main apps I assumed that would be the most invasive (at least for my case) are the Google Play ones, but I thought they wouldn't have that capability in Graphene. I assume as long as you're not saving your files or info to the device where Google can read, that it's all good. Hopefully someone knowledgeable can add more info lol

I tested KDE connect recently, it works well for sending stuff between profiles. I use Syncthing to sync a folder which lives on my server between all my profiles and devices and computers, kind of a dropbox.

The VPN feature works flawless. Just make sure you disable the profile running in the background. The moment you log in it connects to VPN.

The Proton drive idea works, but not as smooth as I would have hoped. I would have hoped that I could access the proton drive share directly inside proton drive. But the share link is not added as a folder in your proton drive. You can only access it through the web interface.
Room for improvement, but I have a working solution anyhow :-)
