Unable to Lock Device After Installation

Hello all,

I believe I've successfully installed GrapheneOS - It boots into GrapheneOS, developer mode is enabled, I get a notification when I plug the phone into my PC. However, it seems the bootloader is still "unlocked" and I cannot figure out how to lock it again to finish the installation.

Going to "Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM Unlocking" shows "Bootloader is already unlocked" with the toggle enabled, and the whole thing is grayed out so I cannot change it.

I've also tried the command "fastboot flashing lock" but it simply prints "< waiting for any device >" and does nothing. I've let it sit through a full reboot cycle, and booted back into GrapheneOS.

I also thought maybe fastboot was old, so downloaded "platform-tools-latest-linux.zip" directly from google but the same thing happened.

I'm currently connected to Wifi and checked for updates, but GrapheneOS says my phone is up to date.

Any advice? I'm kinda in limbo here.

Update: All I needed to do was another factory reset and carefully locate the special setup checkbox that disables locking for me.

I am so dumb.

mike876213 not sure why you would need to factory reset, but if it's working now then all good!

other8026 I just couldn't figure out how to lock it, but the intro setup does it for me. I didn't know how to get back to the intro setup so I did a factory reset.
