I ended up deciding to transfer my 2FA tokens from google authenticator to Aegis, which seems to be a better option anyway. This was simple enough - Google Authenticator generates a 2D barcode for all of your tokens. Just save a screenshot of it and use that to import into Aegis.
Then the fun started due to some short-sightedness on my part. I stored my Aegis password in my password manager which needs...2FA to get into! Whoops. So, I followed the steps to get the sandboxed Google Play Services setup, then burned one of my backup codes to get into my Google account. This let me install Google Authenticator to see my 2FA's.
I also had Symantec VIP - some banking institutions require its use if you want 2FA. As far as I can tell, no other 2FA service will work in the place of Symantec VIP - the institutions that use it require a Credential ID that I think is specific to Symantec VIP. This was a bigger headache - I had to call my bank to verify my identity, which kind of defeats the purpose of 2FA in my opinion...
Anyway, I'm up and running. I'm liking it so far!
