Quick backstory:
I have a Pixel 8 that I purchased in the fall of 2023. I put Graphene OS on it, finally have everything configured just how I like it........ and suddenly I'm starting to have this issue with the screen where I have a single column of bright neon pink pixels lit up down the center of the screen. Sometimes worse, sometimes a little better, but always there. And it is becoming more consistently always there.
I have read some comments regarding this issue, apparently it is a known issue that happens to some devices, and I'm assuming requires a warranty replacement.
So what I am facing now is possibly having to pull all my data, app settings and everything off of my current pixel 8 device..... and once I receive my new one... transporting all that data to the new device.
My questions are: can anyone provide some insight on how to best conduct this process? Should I be framing the process differently? Should I not even try to do a complete transport of all my apps/data? and just start from scratch on the new phone?
Also, now that I have graphene OS installed..... how to I re-install stock Google Pixel OS so I can send it back for the warranty replacement?
Thank you! Really somewhat lost on how to approach this
