Pixel 7 reliability?

Hey, folks.

At the risk of starting a flame war, what is everyones' experience as to reliability of the Pixel 7 series versus the 6? I picked up a 6 a while back and it has been the worst Android set I have ever owned going all the way back to the original G1. It is not a GOS issues as it exhibits similar issues with clipped audio and dropped calls -- regardless of 5G/LTE/Wifi/BT status -- on stock Android as well.

I'm considering moving this 6 device to GPS unit only and picking up a 7 but before I do that I want to make sure it won't just be a sideways move.

I trust the opinion of folks here a lot more than more general forums. :D

My 7a has been almost flawless on Graphene OS. Only issue is a non- impactful Bluetooth disconnect that clears in seconds.

I have a Pixel 7 and its been a long time since I had a phone as reliable as that one.

No issues whatsoever, flawless Graphene experience.

Very good call quality and reliable mobile connection even in places where my old phone had no service.

My 7a stabilized after 3rd or 4th android 14 release.
I have it now one year exactly and surprisingly I don't feel the itch - "get myself 8a".
It works, camera can capture details at the level i need and all, maybe 15 apps I use work quite reliably.
