I noticed that if an unknown number calls me I can very briefly see the caller ID provided from my carrier (T-Mobile) but then it reverts to just showing the number. Is there a setting I'm missing to make the caller ID stay? I'm using the stock dialer

I have experienced the same behavior. There was an instance or two where I see the caller ID name of a business that's calling and then within about 1 second it disappears and only the phone number shows. Lately I have never seen anything but a phone number unless it is in my Contacts.

I assume using the Google Dialer app would resolve this but considering caller id info has shown up briefly I wonder if there's a bug in AOSP or GrapheneOS in this case.

I"m having the same issue. I can see the caller id on screen for a second, then it disappears on MetroPCS in USA on Pixel 15 running Android 15 build number 2025041100 using stock apps. I saw in another forum post that replacing the stock dialer with the Google dialer works around the issue. I'd rather not do that. As someuser64 stated, the fact it appears for a second then disappears makes it appear like a bug. I looked through the bug reporting and didn't see anything of the type reported. Should I open a new bug report?
