Any way to change the default theme colors?

Hey folks, I can't find any documentation on this but I wanted to know if you could change the theme colors beyond the default selection of pastel colors at all? Notification dots are very light and hard to see for me as is, best I can find is the default "grey/blue/light pink" palette but it's still a strain on my eyes.

(I'm on a pixel 8a but there's no tag for me to highlight this in my post sadly)

edwin-jones have you checked out the other color options? There are some in there that have pretty good contrast

It might also prove usual to go to:
Accessibility -> Display size and test
And toggle on "High contrast text"

pml while it's not recommended, there is a developer option that increases the contrast of certain elements. This developer option sticks even when the toggle is disabled at the top.

I've tried some of the other colors, the best is the dark green you can get in light mode, but not dark mode. Light mode on a bright oled roasts my aging eyes somewhat.

I will try the high contrast option. I'd rather avoid enabling developer mode as there's a lot of documentation here and on other sites about the security risks that brings.

You can set dev options with ADB without the need to enable full dev mode.

edwin-jones you can toggle the setting, and then turn off dev options. I've tested it, and it stays set to whatever option you've picked

TRInvictus I'm not sure what you're talking about. Developer Options must be turned on to use USB Debugging, which is what allows you to utilize ADB

Sorry, I guess I mixed something up. I use LADB app directly on the phone (no need for an USB cable).
