My German mobile provider has finally activated 5G for me. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make calls since then (neither calling nor being called). Either the device immediately displays “Call ended” or “Server error. Try later”. SMS and data (via the SIM) work.
I have already deleted the APN several times and set it up again, unfortunately without success.
Unfortunately, forcing the device into the LTE network does not work either. It shows LTE(+), but I can no longer make calls.
(Although it actually worked exactly the same way before the 5G update, at least I don't see any difference here compared to the situation before the 5G update).
I have also tried switching VoLTE off or on. Unfortunately, changing the setting didn't help either.
On the other hand, it works when I dial into the French network. I can make normal calls there. Unfortunately, I was only there for one day and was quite surprised by the “solution”.
I also took out my “old” Pixel 4a. Phone calls work here. The device doesn't support 5G.
My device: Pixel 7 Pro
Graphene build number 2024051500
Release channel: stable
Call settings
mobile data on
preferred network type 5g (and tried others)
auto dial network to on
I would be grateful for any ideas/advice.
At the moment I think I have narrowed the problem down to my provider and Graphene not getting along.
