DeletedUser242 lovefromisrael assuming this is in reference to usage in GOS (can't comment on others), I use Mastodon https://f-droid.org/packages/org.joinmastodon.android/. other than the features listed on their site, the mainstream scientists, disinformation experts, independent journalists etc, that I follow are on Mastodon.
tango lovefromisrael If its just to read posts you can use Nitter. You can browse through Vanadium but it can be slow sometimes. (nitter.net)
Michiel I used Squawker: https://f-droid.org/packages/org.ca.squawker/ post edited by moderation team to remove unnecessary commentary
lovefromisrael DeletedUser242 i think twitter is not amazing but it is much better than others. but mt question is more about what squawker can or can't do..
DeletedUser242 lovefromisrael sorry i don't use that app to offer any clarification. *correction: can't edit my original response. it should read as counter-disformation experts.
Snibby F-Droid has major issues and vulnerabilities. You may want to install apps from other sources like Github (Obtainium), Play Store/Aurora Store, ... See https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/18731-f-droid-vulnerability-allows-bypassing-certificate-pinning/15 for more details.
dsdx331 you can also use twitter PWA in vanadium instead of downloading app, but it isnt best privacy oriented alternative, but still lot better than their app
DeletedUser242 Sempa not an expert to give a qualified opinion, but i use Mastodon for the features listed and people I follow on that platform.
