Proton VPN: "Device failed to get certificate" on new beta update

Could this problem be related to the VPN leak fix in the new latest beta update? This never happened before.

other8026 Yes. I cannot connect to the VPN at all now.

DeletedUser88 I'm unable to reproduce that error. What happens if you remove the VPN app in Settings and clear the app's storage?

Settings > Network & internet > VPN > the cog next to Proton VPN > Forget VPN

and

Settings > Apps > All apps > Proton VPN > Storage & cache > Clear storage

Then try logging in and connecting again.
