Location Sharing and Self Hosting (iOS compatibility)

Hi,

Not 100% sure what tag to use for this, so apologise if I've selected the wrong one.

I've been scouring this forum, and multiple subreddits to find a solution to no avail. My partner uses an iPhone, so I need something that will work across Android and iOS. I've looked at Hauk and it seemed very promising, but without an iOS app, it's not suitable.

Does anyone know of any self hosting solutions that might work?

Can't say if its any good but maybe try OwnTracks. It has apps for both Android and iOS, and you can set up your own server (info here).

Alternatively, you can try Locus? This hasn't been updated for a while and they don't have an official release for iOS:

iOS currently does not have a release. You will need to build and install the app yourself.

If you don't know how / don't want to build it yourself, you could try this iOS version someone made. Be aware of the "Important" and "Warning" messages on that page.
