It's difficult to troubleshoot an issue with such a generic error message (not saying it's on you, Amazon should give better errors or troubleshooting advice depending on what happened in the app). Unless there's more info, all you can do is try generic troubleshooting and hope something works.
You can try getting logs from the app to see if they have any useful info. They can be found here: Settings > Apps > All apps > *app name* > view logs
