Hi all,
I couldn't find this anywhere on the forums. Have some questions I'd like to ask and get users experience.
Does using grapheneOS and a real Google account violate the TOS of Google and will they delete/disable your account for using grapheneOS.
What's the functionality of Google home and nest cameras and doorbell under the sandbox? What issues are there I already know of the "hey Google" command not being able to work, will Google home and cameras work fine?
Does anyone run Google audio / smart home speakers and grapheneOS and how well does it all work under the sandbox?
I'm thinking of making the switch and using my backup phone full Google play services and apps and my main phone no Google period.
I understand the privacy risks but googles convience is very hard to give up completely. I'm going to miss the call screening feature and speech to text the most. No open source replacements can do the level they offer.
I run a degoogled strictly open source pixel 6a with grapheneOS as my main phone but can't interact with Google home or nest devices with it.
