pixel 8 or 8a when available

just seen i could get the 8 for 569$ wondering if that would be worth it since the 8a is supposed to be 499$, not sure what would be most beneficial with graphene.

The Pixel 8a will be an entry-level model, you can expect less performance and a slightly worse camera, but the hardware security will be the same, it will be very good choice for GrapheneOS.

It all depends on how badly you want what the 8 has, that the 8a won’t have.

Like all a series pixels the 8a won't have dual gnss , L1 + L5 satellite locking.
So since the pixel 5 keep to the non a series.
