[deleted] huh, good point, seems to be outdated then since recently it was updated to work without Google code (or at least that's what I understand).
It's still easy and self explanatory along the way: You press the toggle, get a popup to reboot, after that you can add an eSIM and follow the process. If you disable the toggle, you'll get a warning that as long as it's disabled, you can't add or remove eSIMs, turn them on or off or wipe them on factory reset. So it's up to you, but I wouldn't worry about it staying on.
