Are there any half-decent backup solutions? I'm sick of un-plugging and re-plugging the USB drive until Seedvault decides to actually back up my phone. I don't know why auto-backup is enabled by default, and I sure as shit don't know why it can't be disabled, but I imagine that's part of the shoddy programming that's causing issues.
I also don't want my files to be encrypted. That sort of thing should be opt-in only. The whole point of a backup is to make sure you have a last resort solution to something going horribly wrong, so adding encryption on top of a process that's dicey to begin with just worries me even more.
Seedvault is the quintessential example of FOSS shitware that gives open source a bad name. Any alternatives?
