jacobb Is there a good video editing app which is not full of surveillance and/or ads. ideally it should come with features like zommerang or inshot or the like. I don't mind paying for it.
Hb1hf RRZishe denying network permission is not always enough. Ideally you have to run spyware in profiles without Play Services -- at least until GOS implements the app communication scope feature.
Arnauld I use the VN application, which is free. I use it because it supports importing Luts which I need because I record videos with Mcpro2fps. Another good option, but paid, is Lumafusion, but I could not get it working on my Pixel 7.
graphson I’ve dealt with similar concerns about apps having too many ads or questionable data practices, especially with free ones. I ended up trying a few paid options and found that they usually strike a better balance. If you're okay with spending a bit for privacy and more control, it’s definitely worth avoiding the ad-heavy stuff. What mattered most to me was a simple interface and solid exporting options without getting spammed. For something with more editing features but still easy to use, there are some good options like the ones listed in these AVI video editor suggestions, https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/best-avi-video-editors.html. That list helped me pick a few solid programs that weren’t bloated or sketchy.
