Press power button multiple times to force PIN request

On the iPhone 7 there was this feature that, if you spammed the power button it ignored any biometrics set and it just asked for the PIN or passfrase, is there an option like this on GrapheneOS?

launder_trifle You likely want the lockdown option.

Press and hold the power button, press lockdown.

This locks out biometrics and notifications on the lockscreen until you next unlock with your primary unlock method.

i agree with mmmm the apple version doesn't require correct inputs so it's a better implementation that i would love to see on GrapheneOS

Yeah a power button action will be much more powerful than the current lockdown implementation.

Another way is to incorrectly attempt to unlock the screen 5 times using biometrics (e.g. by using an finger whose fingerprint you haven't registered with the device). This will disable biometrics and require the PIN to unlock the screen.

TL;DR on GrapheneOS spam the biometric button rather than the power button :)
