How to assign a ringtone for calls from unknown numbers?

dln949 what you could do is assign a specific ringtone for numbers in your contacts. All other calls will have a default ringtone set by you.

dln949 Hello dln949, Just another idea...I use DND and love it. I have marked several of my contacts as favorites, (open the contact and highlight the star). Now with DND turned on, my phone only rings when those contacts call. Alerts from their text messages also come through. You would have to do this for each contact. I'm not aware of any option to "select all" contacts.

I found this to be a great option to not have to grab my phone for all the rouge calls or "unknown numbers". Non fav contacts can leave a VM LOL :)

Thanks. I THINK I understand your suggestiong, adding a ringtone one contact at a time, right? But I have LOTS of contacts, that would be far too tedious. Any other ideas?????
