I use the third-party launcher KISS and would like to install Progressive Web Apps (PWA) via Vanadium.
When I open the corresponding website with Vanadium, tap on 3 points>Install App
a dialog opens which I confirm with "install". After that a pop-up shows up that says "Installing name of PWA".
But then I can't find the PWA: Neither as a shortcut on the home screen nor searching for it (KISS settings>search settings>Shortcuts
is enabled) nor does it show up under Settings> Apps
(which makes sense, i guess - PWA != App).
If I use the standard GrapheneOS launcher, installing PWAs works fine. I found a corresponding issue on Github but according to the developer this should be fixed.
Also giving Vanadium rights to install apps (Settings>Apps> Special app access> Install unknown apps
) does not help.
What step am I missing- any ideas?
