What are some great platforms to sell Android Applications

I have developed some android applications such as messages, contacts, calendar etc,. I have a good number of active users in my application as well with good user retention and engagement.

How should I proceed in terms of selling these applications.
I have tried monetising my applications which does not give me much results.

Nexsa You could try having a trial period and if the user likes it, they can buy an unlocker app or a serial code from github sponsors. Alternatively you can use something like Patreon, but preferably something more private.

Nexsa Google Play store? You can't really 'sell' an app outside of that realistically

Nexsa Ideas that come to mind:

Charge money via Play Store (good PR: Let your users keep them for free but ask them for a review).
Add some premium features (maybe some synch options, dark mode etc.), but best would be not take away from what already is there. Again: ask for reviews.
Subscription based model, but requires a good reason for your users to pay regularly instead of just switching to another app.
Ad based model, if there's any money in this (you need a laaaarge user base).
Cash out by selling the apps to a company (which doesn't have to be an ad company, god knows GOS could use some well designed basic apps and if you are very competent and fulfill their security demands, who knows...).

I personally can recommend the free Offer Creation course by Alex Hormozi to find a good way forward and communicate your apps to a potebtial buyer/customer/user. He claims to bring companies to a million dollar in sales for free so he can work on expanding them for money. His paid courses/consultings seem shady, but his free course is full of useful information and won't harm you in my opinion, I learned a lot. Use an alias/throwaway mail to avoid the newsletter and you'll be fine.

MarsTrue Mocking them for wanting to get paid for thier work is not nice. Selling/buying software is completely okay, you just got used to having everything for free.

Yes I am currently updating my software to support subscription based model, still I wanted to know what are my options incase things dont workout the way I am hoping.

Can you tell me where and how I can get to know more about these GOS requirements. Is there some operations team with whom I can get in touch with and understand better?

Edit: This is my first post and I would love to know more about Graphene, I got here through searching here and there about AOSP. It seemed like a good place to get some honest opinions based on couple of posts that I read.
