Android's update Find My on Graphene OS

Hi all,

With Android's update to 'Find My' to work similarly to Apple's 'Find My' by relying on other devices to update the location of trackers, will 3rd party trackers like Chipolo, PebbleBee, Eufy, and others coming out be able to have their location's updated by other devices in the area running stock ROMs, while I run Graphene OS without Google services?

I figure the way it would work is if I bought one of the new pebblebee point trackers that was compatible to work on the new Find My network for Android to put in my luggage for travel, it's location would be updated by various Android devices nearby and I could see it's live location trough the Pebblebee app and not through the Gogle Find My app.

Does that sound right?

If you mean the powered of mode then it will not be supported.

I'm wondering with the cross compatibility between iOS and Android, is there any chance of a 3rd party being able to access the network such as a grapheneOS device? Or is it still locked down between android and iOS?
