kd92jew I'm using Brave, not in incognito mode.
I think it would be productive to specify everything: Machine manufacturer and model, OS, OS version, browser, browser version. For Brave, it is important to disable Shields.
kd92jew I'm trying another cable [...]
Specifying which cable(s) have been tried would also be good. No-name cables are in general less good than cables from recognized brand names. Personally I think well of Anker (for cables, not for everything) and Cable Matters. Belkin should also be fine, also the Best Buy house brand. Something from a gas station or convenience store, or a cable that doesn't say who made it, is much less likely to be fine.
kd92jew Also in the other post someone said: Connections should be direct to motherboard on desktop and using A-C on laptops. What does "A-C on laptops" mean?
I think "A" means "USB A" and "C" means "USB-C", i.e., if the laptop has an old rectangular USB A port, use that one. Personally I think it makes the most sense to work from the machine manufacturer and model rather than making general suggestions.
kd92jew I got this "Error undefined".
Is that the whole error, with exactly that punctuation?
