Private DNS issues

Hello,
I'm using NextDNS as my Private DNS.
Also I'm using Wireguard app to connect to my wireguard server at my house.
Sometimes system is displaying a notification saying that "can't connect with private dns servers and no internet connection is available" and internet connection isn't available until I disconnect from my vpn server then reconnect again.
Is there a system issue?

Are you using a VPN Kill Switch with Wireguard?

If you have activated

Settings> Network & internet> VPN > Name of your VPN > Gear icon > Block connections without VPN

it takes a second for the VPN connection to be established. If the network is already trying to access your private DNS before the VPN connection is established, this could cause the error message you described.
