Is there an equivelent of storage scopes for Do Not Disturb access?

Searching this forum for DND + Spoof doesn't turn up much which has me thinking that it's not possible but I figured I'd ask to be certain that I'm not missing some setting deep in some menu somewhere.

Question: is it possible to spoof/lie to an app that requests "override DND" permissions? I have an app that checks that it's been given "override DND" permission every time the main activity enters the foreground. The app will refuse to work until it detects that it's been given the permission.

If this isn't possible presently, is there a more formal feature request flow?
If it is possible... can somebody point me to where in settings it's done?

I've personally never encountered an app asking for that permission before. How about allowing it to override the DND permission, but setting the notification to 'silent'? You'll find the 'silent' option amongst others above the 'override DND' on the same screen.
