n2gwtl That's unlikely. It's more likely that they rejected specific numbers and you finally got one that wasn't flagged on their end. The timing is probably a coincidence.
That said, Google's apps are proprietary, so we don't actually know so we can only speculate. There could be something else at play (like they detected you had a VoIP app installed). Or maybe they weren't 100% confident about the number you were using, so it was accepted after multiple attempts.
Remember that in order for IPC to work, both apps have to consent.
