Is there a way to export all apps & settings?

Currently working on slowly transitioning from my iPhone to graphene. I understand seedvault isn't super reliable, and I actually like the idea of setting a phone up from scratch from time to time.

However, I would like to have some sort of master document or way to see all installed apps, all settings toggles, and also to store all app specific backups so I can restore them. Is there a straightforward/ easy way to do this or will I have to manually take screenshots of everything?

Strive1154 I actually have the same question. Just started down the grapheneOS road, and have been spoilt by the ease of iOS backups. Either in the cloud or securely on your own computer.

Both methods essentially clone the device.

I got burnt in the first few days of owning my pixel, I made a seedvault back up, before i changed my pass code. I somehow mistyped it when entering the change (somehow matching the two inputs!) Anyway, I used the seedvault back up. Its not that bad, and I had high hopes, but plenty of things dont back up or reload. Its a far cry from iOS anyway.

So what are the options? Are there any desktop based software that can clone and reinstall from that? Its scary not having a reliable backup.

I understand one is in the works - but in the meantime?

mmmm in the meantime 250k users live with the knowledge that we do not have a reliable backup solution as yet, but we still seem to be thriving and our community growing. As a general solution, keep your setup minimal, as close to default as possible, backup your data regularly (whether via cloud or locally), use apps that are easy to set up from clean install/support local export. It won't give you as much headache as having a complicated and heavily tweaked OS.

[deleted] It's common practice to be prudent with backups. I'm sure most of the 250k would prefer a system, be it built in or not. But I, well we, digress. I didn't for a second suggest the type of ungratefulness you seemed to insinuate.

Passive aggressive nonsense aside, do you have any advice other than not putting anything on the phone?
