Suppose I lose my phone someday and a random individual finds and steals it to try to access my data. They don't know who I am, so they can't try to coerce me into giving up the passcode or anything like that. If I set a cryptographically secure passphrase as my passcode (eliminating the possibility of brute-forcing it even if the Secure Element's rate-limiting fails), have there ever been any exploits or anything remotely suggesting the lock screen could be bypassed and my data accessed? In this scenario, how does it compare to losing a Linux laptop encrypted with LUKS (no TPM), or a hard drive (no OS) storing my data encrypted with LUKS? On a side note, what is everything that isn't encrypted in the BFU state? Obviously, my screensaver, the Quick Tile settings, and any emergency information I set aren't, but what else is left open for attackers to see?
