Hi Everyone, I am new to the Pixel 7 Pro and GrapheneOS, but I am fairly tech savvy. All I am trying to do is plug the phone in to a Windows 10 machine, so that I can access files on the phone from my machine. I would like to be able to back up pictures this way and also add music from my machine to the phone.
When I unlock the phone and insert the USB C cable, the phone shows up like a flash drive would, however it is empty and I cannot see or access any files on the phone. I keep reading that there will be a USB message/prompt that will pop up on the phone and I need to click that to enable file access, however that does not happen. The phone flashes once (to tell me it is charging) but there is no prompt for me to tap. This takes away about 99% of the reason for using the phone. I don't care about apps, I just want to be able to back up pictures that I take, check email, listen to music, and send texts.
Under system -> security -> USB Peripherals I have it set to "allow new USB peripherals when unlocked"
Can anyone tell me if there is another setting I may have missed somewhere that would be preventing this function? Thanks.
