DeletedUser245 Basically, when I tap with my yubikey on my phone, instead of automatically open the Yubico Authenticator it gave me the option, which I select as "always" and yet every single time I tap still give me option to select the app.

dirksche With Onlykey nothing works without Google Services beside the build in Password Manager. But no webauthn no passkeys....
p338k I don't know of any applications that will allow webauthn to work without Google Play Services. Most delegate FIDO related tasks to Google.
dirksche There is great app in f-droid: authnkey. It enables GOS to work with hardware keys without Google Services.

fid03 schweizer The app is great. And it is also available in playstore as FIDO Bridge I tried it now in a private space without Play services and it worked without issues. Can sign in with and register passkeys without issues it seems. Also non-discoverable credentials. Thanks for sharing.
fid03 Oh, and it also solves the long standing issue of being unable to sign in to Microsoft 365 work apps with a security key.
