I switched to GOS for a bit more than a month now, and at first everything seemed to be fine, and then crashes started to happen. There were few GOS updates since then, but I couldn't tell if any of the updates contributed in any way to current behaviour.
Pixel 7 Pro
- 4 User Profiles
- Sandboxed Google services in 3 of the profiles
- PIN + Fingerprint auth.
- GOS Build No. 2024031400
- SIM1 - physical
- SIM2 - e-sim
Among diagnosis attempts I disabled all user installed apps, but crashes still happened.
Phone becomes unresponsive and restarts in all the random circumstances, and it happens in all user profiles, in a variety of contexts. I can't link it to a specific activity. However, from looking over kernel crash logs, in my limited position of amateur with only basic knowledge, it appears to be linked to power management. At times I experienced even two consecutive crashes at less than one minute apart. It crashes even whilst I'm not operating it.
Perhaps a factory reset would fix it (or maybe not, as random crashes seem to be a recurring theme for GrapheneOS), but at this time I have so many apps and customisations integrated in it, that I can't just start over without a proper backup strategy. Before testing if a factory reset will work, I'll have to take care of backup
In the meantime, I saved crash logs, and I am happy to set even more verbose logging, if instructed. I have some basic experience with ADB, but I will require some guidance.
Thanks.
