On Flarum, the software that runs this forum, admins can remove users using the admin console. Flarum then deletes the user entry from the database. Afterwards, when any of their posts are loaded later, the author field is empty, so the website just shows [deleted] on the website.
So after deletion, nobody, including mods and admins, can see who the author was since their info was deleted from the database.
