Unable to delete .png file

I have a 0 B .png file (image-17-1.png) in my Download folder. When I try to delete, the file remains as is. When using Gallery app to open the file, it shows a black/blank screen. I do not recall downloading this file, hence I fear if it's malware or an important system file. Would appreciate any suggestions to get rid of it.

TheAwesomenESQ what would a malware with 0b size do? Nothing. It is not a malware. Rather it is a discrepancy between what the app thinks it should risplay (cache) vs real data written in the storage. Clear the cache for that particular app and force stop/open. See if it disappears.

TheAwesomenESQ This means an app has an active download. It's not malware. It's a buggy app. It will eventually go away or you can figure out which app it is.
