Pixel 8Pro Audito failed to generate key pair

After setting up my pixel 8 pro from seedvault backup, its not possible to verify the Os with auditor. The app always get an error message:
Error encountered generating attestation:
Java.security.ProviderException: Failed to generate key pair

Also the remote verification fails and submitting sample data in auditor app dont work.

What i am doing wrong? On my other pixel 8pro it works percectly. Thank you!

stv I don't think that that error message is anything to worry about. I'd suggest clearing the pairing data and trying again.

I have tried many times clearing the pairing data, restarting both devices....always the same error!

Have you tried clearing Auditor's storage and cache (long press on APP icon> Storage& cache) and restarting the device?

Have you withdrawn any permissions from the Auditor app?

Yes, i also cleared app storage+cache and rebooted the device. Always the same errormessage. No, auditor has all permissions. Maybe its because of restoring from seedvault?

stv What device (and which OS) was the Seedvault backup from?

The backup is from an pixel 8pro 128gb. The new device is a pixel 8pro with 256gb

You can clear RemoteProvisioner (com.android.rkpdapp) system app data via the Settings app to work around this. We've excluded it from backups for the next OS release.
