How owner profile works when switching to other profile

Noticed than media player is stopped when switching from owner to other profile.
How to know what apps are still running when switching from owner to other profile? or that's not possible?

From my understanding, apps still run (if the profile itself can run). Its just media that can play only in the currently active profile.

That's how I would understand it, too. The media player is not closed when the profile is changed (at least not if "allow running in background" is activated for the profile) but only stops playback. If you switch back to the profile, playback can be started again.

Fun fact - the profile cannot be changed while a call is in progress - the other profiles under "select user" are then grayed out.
