Calls to emergency services

I recently used my phone to dial emergency services and noticed none of the calls show up in my call log like normal calls do, is that normal?

I also noticed some message about emergency callback mode and emergency location services. Is any information provided to them other than your location and is that only for the duration of the call?

Probably has something to do with domestic abuse situations, you really don't want to have calls to emergency services in your log if your "partner" is going to beat you up for it.

Maybe calls to emergency services don't show up in the log if you call an emergency service from the lockscreen? Haven't heard of this being a GrapheneOS feature, though, would be interested in hearing more.

fid02 I agree, I've never had to call emergency services, and obviously it's not something we can test (at least ethically). I'm interested also in the answer to OP's question.

fid02 I dialed from phone app in 2nd user profile. Line connected instantly all that matters. Now i wonder if recording the call would work?
