Markup app kills picture

Hello,

If I pass an image to Markup for edit from Aves Gallery, everything is ok.

If I want to edit an image with MiXplore (files manager), I get the message "image cannot be loaded", and the picture content is instantly deleted, file size = 0 bytes.
Passing an image to edit with MiXplore to eg. the built-in AOSP galley app works as expected.

Any idea what's leading Markup to killing images that way? Thank you

TRInvictus Unsure why that would happen. If I understand the way this works correctly, nothing should be deleting anything. It's possible the file explorer you're using is the issue. I'd test it myself, but it appears I'd need to pay for the app to use it. I'd suggest you contact the app developers to see if they can recreate the issue or go through logs to see what exactly is the cause.

I did a further test with sending a picture to be edited from MiXplorer to "image toolbox" from fdroid, and that worked too.
Seems the IPC to Markup app seems to be some kind of non-standard, as both the stock gallery app and now tested "image toolbox" do work as intended...?
