Updating Play Services notification?

I got a Notification to update Play Services, and when I tap it goes to Play Store. I have the GOS GPServices (mirror) app notifications set to Off.

So first, should these GOS App store Notifications be turned On?
And if I check GPS (mirror) in GOS Apps, there is no update app button/message.

So do I update GPS (mirror) from Play Store? Or once my notifications are turned On in GOS App store will it update through GOS App store? Hope this makes sense.

KS1 Google Play and other apps aren't updated as often in the Apps repository. The recommended way to update those apps is via Google Play. GmsCompat won't allow updates to unsupported versions.

Last I checked, Android Auto is the only Google app that can only be updated via the Apps app.

As far as notifications go, I personally have notifications enabled for the Sandboxed Google Play apps.

Ok in GOS App store turned notifications On for Google apps. But next time I get notification to update Play Services or Store and tap leads to Google app store, it is safe/normal. Got it, thanks.
I hadnt noticed this before in my first 6 months with GOS and I thought it might be sorta a trick from Google. Also in Play store I dont have notifications on, I update Play apps manually. GPServices didnt show up in normal list of apps to update so it was confusing.

So far I had only updated these from GOS App store: camera, auditor, pdf, Vanadium so this was new. Thanks again!✌
