Since about 3 Weeks Google Maps stopped working in my Main Profile without Google Play Services installed. It still works in another Profile with sandboxed Google Play installed

The Map is not shown and when i try to set a route it says "cant connect to Maps"

I tried to deinstall the Play Services in the Second Profile and indeed it shows the Same Error Message the Same happens when i remove the Network permissions from the Play Services

I installed Google Maps from the Aurora Store also tried Reinstall delete Cache and App data but it did not help

Ist it No langer possible to run Google Maps without Play Services?

    TheHunt0r Yes, it does seem to be the case that Google Maps only works in profiles with Sandboxed Google Play installed now.

      As an alternative, their mobile website works without play services. I understand that is not an app but a website. Thats the setup I have to avoid installimg services
