Auto-reset app after each usage

Hello,
is there a possibilty to auto-reset an app after it was closed back to it's initial state as when it was installed? Clear cache and storage, maybe revoke permissions, and force close it - as it'd never been actually used yet? Could help against tracking etc.
Any thoughts / ideas? Thank you

TRInvictus This sounds like an interesting idea, but I don't think it would protect against tracking. If the app keeps track of ANDROID_ID, then they can see it's the same. In addition to that, they can likely figure out the app is running on the same phone based on other identifiers.

other8026 Thank you for pointing to those IDs, these, and probably other stuff too, should be considered, if such a functionality may make sense to be implemented. Else, it would be futile.

I think there were already endless discussions on that, and no suitable solution yet, sadly. (Any must-read threads on that maybe please?)

In addition to the app communication scopes and the Android_ID randomisation that the devs plan on adding, it might be a great idea. They have an open issue on github about making various non system components hidden to apps by default.

[deleted] It's the same - endless - hide 'n seek game as with browser fingerprinting. Leave only one single door open and any efforts are gone.

Problem is, if you revoke access to any stuff an app wants to have, it may react miffed and just refuse to work.
We're free to choose our apps, but it's very likely, that those apps we depend on and don't have much of a choice to alternatives, react that way (banking apps etc...).

TRInvictus The developers are specifically avoiding "revoking" access to components. They make features that pretend that there is nothing for 3rd party apps to see anyways. Its undetectable. For example with the sensors permission, instead of blocking access to them entirely they return 0 values to the apps so they dont realize that its inaccessable.
