Seeing ads from "Google" profile

I have 2 profiles. One with Google services and the other is intended for privacy.

But, I must've screwed up somewhere because I'm seeing ads from things I searched for on my "Private" profile show up in places like Facebook when I'm on my PC.

I'm logged into Facebook on my Google profile, but not my private profile.

What the hell did I do wrong? How does Facebook know what I'm searching for on my Private profile?

I do have a few apps from the Aurora store without network permission on my Private profile, but that's about it.

de0u I used Google. I have a VPN on my private profile but it isn't always on. I only run it when using Wifi outside of my home or when streaming.

Up to you! But if "they" see searches from some IP address and then see app activity from the same IP address within a short period of time, "they" may conclude that all of that activity from that IP address is by the same person. In other words, all activity from your home IP address is likely to be tagged as you. Edit: especially all the activity from the same IP address from screens with the same pixel width and height.
