How to connect my PC with an ethernet cable if my ISP router is very far

I tried different methods, I already tried using Powerline Adapter but I had network outages all the time. I tried to use a Wi-Fi router like GL.inet MT3000, I used it to connect Wi-Fi on my PC without internet from ISP, but apparently it doesn't work, I also tried to use the USB tethering mode of my pixel under GrapheneOS on my PC, it works but I have to use the MT3000 Wi-Fi on my pixel. Finally, I used the mesh router like orbi, it works well but unfortunately they have the gigabit ethernet port, not 2.5 gbps.

My goal is to use a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port on my PC with a 2.5 Gbps USB Ethernet adapter but I can't find a solution. I would also like to have an open-source router if possible

(When I say my PC, I mean my desktop PC, not laptop)

Have you considered running an Ethernet cable? You can buy long ones (Up to 100 meters) that are already terminated. That would be the most reliable and provide the fastest speed.

Most wireless routers can't do 2.5Gbs wireless, and if they can, that is usually only in the same room when you are close to it. It sounds like the desktop is at least a few rooms away from a wireless router.

If you can't run a cable, the orbi is probably the best bet for something that is reliable and performs well. I am not aware of any open source whole home mesh systems.

I can use an ethernet cable with my orbi satellite to my PC upstairs and my orbi router plugs a port cable into "Internet" via my ISP router, it works fine. But now there is Wi-Fi 7, 2.5 Gbps or 10 Gbps. it has evolved a lot today compared to 5/6 years ago. I would like to use 2.5 Gbps, for the moment it is not possible for me

You just need to make sure that all of the hardware is 802.3bz compliant. Try not to cheap out on cabling. You can use Cat5e up to 100m before you need to consider using switches in between, but I would try and buy higher quality Cat6A or Cat7.

If you're using USB, you need to make sure the port is supporting at least USB 3.1. Starlink makes an NBASE-T (5GbE) USB Ethernet adapter that can step down to 2.5GbE.
