Can Graphene specify the exact refresh rate on a pixel 8 or pro?

For example on the P8pro can I force the screen to be 30fps at all times? Or on the 8 can I force it to be 60fps? Just want to extend battery life as much as possible.

Also is buying the unlocked phone straight from google the best option?

I don't think that is an option. As long as your phone can unlock it's bootloader, you can install GrapheneOS, you can also get it at retailers like Best Buy, buy an carrier unlocked device as carrier locked devices typically also disallow OEM unlocking

Google store is the best place to get it as you have 30 days to return the device with no restocking fee. Best Buy has a $50 restocking fee and only gives you 2 weeks to return.
